North or South, turn off the A1 at Alnwick, clearly
signposted. Follow the A1068 towards Alnmouth out of
Alnwick. You will pass The Oaks Inn on your right. Approximately
3 miles out of Alnwick you will reach a small roundabout,
turn left for Seahouses, Embleton, Longhoughton and
the B1339. This takes you directly into Lesbury.
Rose Cottage is on your left hand side, the middle
of 3 stone cottages around 300 metres on from the roundabout.
The cottage is approximately 40 metres before The Coach
Inn.

Rail
Alnmouth Railway Station (Alnmouth for Alnwick) is
only 0.7m from Rose Cottage, Lesbury. Alnmouth is a
regular stop on the East Coast Main Line. Visit National
Rail Enquiries for train information and to book
tickets.
Air
Newcastle International Airport is only a 40 minute
taxi ride from Rose Cottage. Alternatively you can use
the Metro from the Airport to Newcastle Central Station
and then take the train to Alnmouth.
